Quinn Chapel AME Church, the first Black Church established in Chicago, was the second Black Church established in the Midwest and was also a stop on the Underground Railroad. Pilgrim Baptist Church is where Gospel Music was born and Olivet Baptist Church is where Mahalia Jackson made her singing debut. Religious Groups Religious Groups such as Urban Ministries, and Pentecostal Assemblies of the World have utilized our services to round-out activities for their conferences.
